COTTONWOOD ART FESTIVAL NAMED BEST FESTIVAL IN RICHARDSON FOR 2026

For more than 50 years, Cottonwood Art Festival has welcomed artists and art lovers to Richardson for a weekend celebrating creativity, craftsmanship, and community. We are honored to announce that the festival has been voted Best Festival in the 2026 Best of Richardson Awards presented by Richardson Life Magazine.

This recognition is a tribute to the incredible artists, volunteers, sponsors, patrons, and supporters who continue to make Cottonwood one of Texas’ premier fine art festivals.

Each spring and fall, Cottonwood Park transforms into an outdoor gallery featuring hundreds of nationally recognized visual artists alongside live music, hands-on activities for children, food vendors, and thousands of visitors who come to experience exceptional fine art in a beautiful park setting.

Being recognized by the Richardson community is especially meaningful because this award reflects the people who attend, collect art, volunteer their time, and help preserve one of the city’s most cherished traditions. Richardson residents nominated and voted for the businesses, organizations, and events that enrich community life, and we’re incredibly grateful to be among this year’s winners.
