Volunteer Information

Thank you for your interest in volunteering for Cottonwood Art Festival!

Cottonwood’s interactive children’s area, ArtStop, needs your help staffing activities, organizing materials and helping our pint-size Picasso’s create their masterpieces. Be prepared to laugh and have fun, as ArtStop is a memorable experience for kids of all ages.

We rely on nearly 200 volunteers to help run six interactive stations with fun activities from hat-making to painting on a canvas! We are extremely grateful for the commitment, hard work and never-ending smiles of our volunteers who make Cottonwood such a wonderful experience for so many!

Volunteer shifts are 2.5 hours long and volunteers will receive a volunteer t-shirt with their service.

At Cottonwood Art Festival, our volunteers play a huge part in our success.

  • Volunteers must be 16 or older
  • Volunteer shifts are 2 1/2 hours.
  • Volunteers need to be available for the entire shift.
  • All volunteers must sign up online in advance.
  • No walk-in volunteers the day of the event will be accepted.

If you are volunteering for community service hours documentation is only available at the end of each shift. It is the individual’s responsibility to bring their own paperwork. All volunteers will receive a confirmation email and more detailed information prior to the event date.
