Cottonwood Art Festival Fall lineup of entertainment for two stages on October 4-5 in Richardson, Texas

The 56th Cottonwood Art Festival returns Oct. 4–5, offering a weekend filled with nationally recognized fine art, live music, wine, food, and family-friendly activities at Richardson’s Cottonwood Park.

Recognized as one of the premier art festivals in the country, Cottonwood invites approximately 200 artists from around the world to showcase extraordinary works in watercolor, sculpture, ceramics, jewelry, photography, and more. This fall’s Featured Artist is David del Solar, a celebrated painter from Pamplona, Spain, known for his distinctive layering of light that reflects a lifelong passion for art.

Music on the Main Stage

Beyond the visual arts, Cottonwood delivers a full weekend of live music on multiple stages. Festivalgoers can enjoy the Imagery Wine Courtyard Main Stage, presented by Imagery Estate Winery, featuring seasoned songwriters, masterful guitarists, sweet harmonies, and powerhouse roadhouse rockers.

Ryan Berg

Ryan Berg grew up in Dallas and began to write music at the age of 16. Music has been a constant through his formal opera studies as well as performing on stages around Texas. In 2020, Ryan would be recruited to NBC’s hit TV show, The Voice where he received two chair turns (John Legend and Gwen Stefani) ultimately ending up on Stefani’s Team on Season 19. After elimination from the show, Ryan returned to Dallas to begin his full-time career as an Artist.

The Imaginaries blend Shane’s guitar-slinging blues-rock roots with Maggie’s boldly vulnerable singer-songwriter sensibility. Maggie is an established music supervisor with a strong track record of securing song placements in film and TV. The Imaginaries new album is a guns-a-blazing artistic statement. The title track is an adrenalized melding of edgy blues-rock and soaring pop.

Remy Reilly Duo

21-year-old Remy Reilly is not only a singer and songwriter with a voice mature beyond her age, but she also plays the drums and piano. Remy got her start performing all around DFW. Remy’s love for music began early on at the age of 2 with singing. By the time she was just five years old, she was already writing her own music. This year she has released “What Do You Know,” produced by Jonathan Tyler and “Half Price Books.”

“Missing 3” happened by accident – the band “Moving Colors”, a 6-piece band was asked to play a venue and there was only enough room to put 3 members on stage, so there it began – “Missing 3” was born!  They are a casual, crowd engaging band that plays a wide variety of music – classic to current rock like John Mayer, Stevie Ray, Beatles, Ben Harper, Tears for fears to The Black Keys.

On the south end of the park, the Acoustic Stage, presented by Septien Entertainment Group and Texas Music Project, provides an intimate listening experience. Septien has been training top-tier talent since 1986, while Texas Music Project inspires youth across Texas through the healing power of music.  Together, they bring heart, talent, and soul to the stage.

Flavor & Family Fun
Festival amenities include the Craft Beer Garden, featuring local brews, wines, and frozen drinks, as well as a bustling Food Court with festival favorites like grilled specialties, roasted corn, and fresh-squeezed lemonade.

Children can explore the ArtStop Area, where hands-on stations let young artists try pottery, weaving, painting, chiseling, and more.

Admission, Hours and Location
Admission for Cottonwood Art Festival is free and open to the public on Saturday and Sunday, October 4-5, 2025. The event is held in the beautifully shaded Cottonwood Park, located at 1321 W. Belt Line Rd. in Richardson, Texas.

FALL Festival Hours:
Saturday, 10 a.m.-7 p.m. and
Sunday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

Festival Parking
Parking is available across from the Festival grounds at the Richardson High School football stadium on Belt Line Road. Shuttles are provided throughout the weekend to and from the parking area.
