Chalk the Walk Sidewalk Art Contest
The sidewalk is your canvas in the annual Chalk the Walk Art Contest. Artists age 12+ will have the opportunity to create a masterpiece of their choice on the sidewalks of Cottonwood Park with a chance to win up to $500 in cash prizes! Now you get to vote for your favorite!

Cottonwood’s interactive children’s area, ArtStop, needs your help staffing activities, organizing materials and helping our pint-size Picasso’s create their masterpieces. DAVID DEL SOLAR SHARES LIGHT THROUGH ART AS THE FALL FEATURED ARTIST
David del Solar will be sharing light through art as the Fall featured artist for Cottonwood Art Festival in Richardson. Established in 1969, the Cottonwood Art Festival is a semiannual, juried art show and is one of the most prestigious fine art festivals in the region and nation. The festival features work from more than 200 artists from across the U.S., selected by a panel of jurors.
